PRODUCT USE

  • Our tackle is developed primarily for Australian estuary and inshore species such as bream, flathead, and estuary perch, but can be effective for a wide range of predatory fish depending on presentation and conditions.

  • We aim to produce some of the highest quality products on the market while keeping them accessible at a fair and competitive price. Our products are designed specifically for Australian fishing conditions, with a focus on practical performance, durability, and realistic presentation.

Each item is tested beyond its intended design limits and across a range of environments throughout Australia to ensure dependable performance in real-world conditions.

  • Use the lightest jighead that allows you to reach the desired depth. Lighter weights create a more natural presentation, while heavier weights are suited to deeper water or stronger current.

  • Yes. Our products are suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater environments. After fishing in saltwater, we recommend a light rinse with fresh water and allowing your gear to dry before storage to help maintain long-term performance.

Product Care

  • To maintain hook strength and prevent corrosion:

    • Rinse lightly with fresh water after saltwater use to remove salt residue.
    • Allow jigheads to dry completely before storing.
    • Store unused jigheads in their original resealable bag to keep them protected from moisture.
    • Avoid mixing new jigheads with used ones, as residual saltwater can transfer and lead to rust or contamination.
    • Keep them in a cool, dry place and avoid storing them while still rigged with wet soft plastics.
    • Periodically inspect hook points for sharpness or signs of corrosion and replace if needed.

Proper storage and drying will help extend the lifespan and performance of your jigheads.

  • To keep your lures performing at their best:

    • Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use to remove salt and debris.
    • Allow lures to dry fully before storing to help prevent corrosion on hooks and hardware.
    • Store lures in a dry tackle tray or their original packaging to minimise moisture exposure.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight, which can affect shape, finish, or materials.
    • Do not store wet lures in sealed containers for long periods, as trapped moisture can lead to rust.
    • Periodically check hooks and split rings for sharpness or corrosion and replace if required.

Regular care will help maintain action, durability, and hook performance over time.

  • To keep your TPE lures performing at their best:

    • Store them in their original packaging and keep them separate from traditional PVC soft plastics, as different materials can react when stored together.
    • Do not mix different lure colours when storing, as colour transfer may occur.
    • Avoid exposure to excessive heat (such as inside vehicles or direct sunlight) to help maintain their shape.
    • Store lures flat to prevent deformation.
    • If used in saltwater and stored rigged, a light rinse before storage is recommended.

Following these steps will help preserve durability, action, and lifespan.

  • To maximise the performance and lifespan of your braided line:

    • Rinse lightly with fresh water after saltwater use to remove salt and debris.
    • Allow the line to dry before storing to help prevent corrosion on connected components.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use, as UV can reduce line strength over time.
    • Regularly check for frays or abrasion, especially after fishing structure, and retie if needed.
    • Store reels in a cool, dry place to maintain line condition.

Routine inspection and maintenance will help ensure consistent casting performance and strength.
