This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through the BLAKO FISHING PTY LTD online store.
We currently ship Australia-wide using Australia Post.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where a product or service does not meet a consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy.
Express Shipping
Express shipping is charged at $6.95 Australia-wide.
Orders over $75.00 qualify for free express shipping.
This can change at any time.
Processing Time
Orders are dispatched the next business day after your order is placed.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.
Delivery Timeframes
Australia Post Express delivery is estimated at 1–4 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by Australia Post delays, public holidays, peak periods, regional areas, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control.
If a product or service cannot be supplied on time or within a reasonable time, the business must provide a solution under Australian Consumer Law.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link by email.
You can also track your order by logging into your BLAKO account and checking your order status.
If this is your first time ordering from BLAKO, please check your junk or spam folder, as tracking emails may sometimes end up there.
Tracking updates may take some time to appear after dispatch while Australia Post scans and processes the parcel through their network.
Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for entering and confirming the correct delivery address before completing checkout.
Please check your shipping details carefully before placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided at checkout and the order is dispatched to that address, BLAKO FISHING PTY LTD is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, lost parcels, or additional costs that result from the incorrect address.
Refunds or replacements will not be provided where an order has been delivered to the address entered at checkout, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we may arrange re-delivery at the customer’s cost.
Missing or Not Received Orders
If your order has not arrived or appears to be missing, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number so we can investigate with Australia Post.
Missing or not received orders must be reported within a reasonable timeframe.
If an order has not been reported as missing or not received within 6 months from the date of dispatch, we may be limited in what we can do to assist, as carrier investigations and tracking information may no longer be available.
This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Delivery Issues
If your parcel appears delayed, lost, damaged, or has an issue on arrival, please contact us with your order number.
For damaged items, please include photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label so we can assess the issue quickly.
We recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery if there is an issue with your order.
If a product arrives damaged, it may not meet the consumer guarantee of acceptable quality, and the available remedy may depend on whether the issue is major or minor.
Authority To Leave / Safe Drop
Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe place or leave a collection card, depending on the delivery service, your location, and Australia Post’s delivery process.
If a parcel is marked as delivered by Australia Post but cannot be located, please contact us and we’ll help investigate where possible.
Unavailable Items
In the unlikely event that an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable replacement, backorder, refund, or other appropriate solution.
