Returns & Exchanges

  • We accept change of mind returns within 60 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original retail packaging, and in resalable condition.

    Here’s what you need to know:

    • You can request a return within 60 days of receiving your order.
    • Proof of purchase or your order number is required.
    • Items must be unused, in original retail packaging, complete with all original contents, and in resalable condition.
    • Items that have been fished, rigged, trimmed, glued, heated, exposed to water, modified, damaged, or used cannot be returned for change of mind.
    • Items treated with any added scent, oil, attractant, chemical, or other substance cannot be returned for change of mind.
    • Clearance or final sale items cannot be returned for change of mind unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable for change of mind returns.
    • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for change of mind returns.
    • If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can review and resolve the issue.

    Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

    If your refund is approved, we usually process it within 1–3 business days. Once issued, your bank, payment provider, or buy now pay later provider may take additional time to return the funds or update your payment schedule.

    Here’s what to expect:

    • Credit and debit cards: usually 5–10 business days
    • Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay: usually 5–10 business days
    • PayPal: processing times may vary depending on your PayPal account and funding method
    • Afterpay: refunds are processed back through Afterpay and may update your payment schedule or return funds depending on your payment status
    • Zip Pay: refunds are processed back through Zip and may update your account balance or payment schedule

    Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.

    Original shipping fees are non-refundable for change of mind returns unless required under Australian Consumer Law or the issue was caused by our error.

    If your refund has been issued but has not appeared after 10 business days, please contact your bank, payment provider, Afterpay, or Zip Pay first. If you still need help, contact us with your order number.

  • To request a return or exchange, contact us through our contact page with your order number and details of the item you would like to return or exchange.

    Please include:

    • Your order number
    • The item you want to return or exchange
    • The reason for the request
    • Photos if the item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or there is an issue with your order

    Please do not send any items back until your return or exchange has been approved by BLAKO.

    Once your request has been reviewed, we’ll provide return instructions if your item is eligible.

    For change of mind returns, the item must be unused, in original retail packaging, complete with all original contents, and in resalable condition.

    Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for change of mind returns. Additional shipping charges may apply for exchanges unless the exchange is due to our error or required under Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently offer Australia Post Express shipping for Australian orders.

    Here’s what you need to know:

    • Express shipping: $6.95 Australia-wide
    • Free express shipping: available on orders over $75
    • Dispatch time: orders are usually dispatched the next business day
    • Delivery estimate: usually 1–4 business days from dispatch, depending on your location
    • Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays
    • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will usually be dispatched the next business day

    Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking email so you can follow your delivery.

    Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to Australia Post delays, regional delivery areas, weather, public holidays, or other events outside our control.

  • At this stage, we do not offer order pickup.

    All BLAKO orders are shipped Australia-wide using Australia Post Express.

    Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking email so you can follow your delivery.

  • BLAKO offers free express shipping Australia-wide on orders over $75.

    Here’s what you need to know:

    • Free shipping applies automatically at checkout when your order total is over $75.
    • Free shipping applies to Australian orders only.
    • Orders are shipped using Australia Post Express.
    • The free shipping threshold is based on the order total after discounts have been applied.
    • Shipping rates and free shipping thresholds may be updated from time to time.

    Available shipping options and rates will be shown at checkout based on your delivery address.

    Delivery timeframes may vary depending on the destination, customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, and other factors outside our control.

    More countries may be added soon as we continue expanding our international shipping options.

Orders & Payment

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking email with your Australia Post tracking number.

    You can track your order by:

    • Opening the tracking link in your dispatch email
    • Logging into your BLAKO account and checking your order status
    • Entering your tracking number on the Australia Post tracking page

    If this is your first time ordering from BLAKO, please check your junk or spam folder, as tracking emails may sometimes end up there.

    Tracking updates may take some time to appear after dispatch while Australia Post scans and processes the parcel through its network.

    If your order appears delayed or you need help, contact us with your order number.

  • If you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

    We process orders quickly, so we may not be able to cancel or change an order once it has been packed, fulfilled, or dispatched.

    We may be able to help with:

    • Cancelling an order before it has been packed or dispatched
    • Updating the delivery address before dispatch
    • Changing an item, size, colour, or variant before fulfilment
    • Fixing an order detail if the order has not yet been processed

    Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee changes can be made. If your order has already shipped, you may need to wait for delivery and then request a return or exchange if eligible.

    Customers are responsible for entering the correct delivery details at checkout. If an incorrect address is entered and the order has already been dispatched, we may not be able to redirect the parcel.

    We design purpose-built soft plastics, jigheads, and fishing gear with a focus on function, simplicity, and performance in Australian conditions.

    Our products are developed to solve real problems for anglers, from clean lure presentation to reliable rigging, durability, and action in the water.

  • We stand behind our products and want you to have confidence when ordering from BLAKO.

    BLAKO products are covered by Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a genuine fault, arrives damaged, or does not meet a consumer guarantee, we’ll review the issue and provide an appropriate solution.

    This may include a replacement, refund, store credit, exchange, or another suitable remedy depending on the issue.

    Some product issues may be caused by normal fishing use rather than a product fault. Fishing gear is used in harsh and variable conditions, and damage caused during use is not automatically considered a warranty issue.

    Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, warranty or fault claims do not cover damage caused by:

    • Fish bites
    • Snags
    • Rocks
    • Structure
    • Impact damage during use
    • Rust, corrosion, or damage caused by exposure to water, saltwater, moisture, or improper drying after use
    • Incorrect rigging
    • Cutting, trimming, or modifying the product
    • Exposure to heat, chemicals, oils, solvents, or added attractants
    • Improper storage
    • General wear and tear
    • Normal fishing use
